This is the oldest song on the record. In terms of direction, we wanted a huge wall of sound. Joe decided to go play a solo despite the fact that Jeff was still playing leads, and it managed to co-exist better than we had thought. While on the recording, we had the benefit of separately tracking a rhythm guitar, Mel’s fuzz bass carried well enough to make it work live. The first time we played this song live was at the “Burn Out The Sky” CD release show, and Kenny had told us it was his favourite song of the night. Several others and ourselves felt this way too so there was no way we couldn’t put it on the record. We thought about adding the vocals to the song because it has a standard song structure, but nothing really benefited the overall feel that was captured in the instrumental. We decided to keep it simple and add a chant line of the songs title, this way it is set a part a bit from the other instrumentals on the album and gives something tangible to remember.
