“It might’ve taken a decade, but New Design finally sounds like they’re done fighting the tide. They’ve made their peace, and they ended up right where they need to be.”
— Zac Djamoos, The Alternative
Waking up yesterday to Zac Djamoos’s album review from The Alternative felt nostalgic. Ten years ago Zac reviewed our debut album Far From Home on Absolute Punk alongside some of our favorite bands.
Were grateful for how he always finds the right words to capture the emotions and messages we conveyed through the album. He writes:
“The guitars are often pushed to the front of the mix, demanding attention without distracting from the vocal delivery or melody; the effect is to allow each crescendo to hit with full force.”
