This week we are featuring our first single, “I’ve Never Seen The Ocean”. We actually wrote this song backwards, starting with the outro riff that became the motif for the whole song. Jeff wrote the part at practice, but the first time we actually considered turning it into a song was during a sound check for a show. After the show, he immediately recorded a rough acoustic demo, which we used as a basis for the whole song. From there, we knew we wanted the song’s introduction to hit hard. It became the perfect song to open the album
